A mysterious howl is causing herding dogs to go missing. Because of this, the herds they protect keep getting picked off, and shepherds are losing heads and money. Eli is new to the shepherding route, along with his guardian dog Fiona. After Fiona disappears into the woods, Eli is determined to find her, even if the howling beast is looking to find him, too.
